David Brayshaw

Born in 1960. A professional artist since 1982, David has an impressive list of artistic achievements testifying to his masterly style, and to the special talent he brings to painting the fragile and sublime Australian landscape.

David's search for new and unusual painting subjects has led him through the Great Barrier Reef, Australian Alps, rainforests and windswept Australian coastline. This journey has helped deliver a string of art prizes and commendations, plus many important purchases work among them, The Australian Art Bank, museums and overseas corporate collectors.

In 1983, David was Invited to be a fellow of the Australian Institute of History and the Arts for "reaching an extraordinary degree of competence" in his field, making him the Institute's youngest member ever.
