Fu Hong

Fu Hong is a highly acclaimed Chinese artist. He is an artist of impeccable training, long experience and serious dedication. His paintings, unmistakable from any distance are strongly decorative, powerful elements in a room. The subject matter is traditional, but, by bypassing strict reality, patterns become stronger and design more dominant.

Hong’s first solo exhibition was held at the highly acclaimed China National Art Gallery, Beijing (most artists wait their lifetime for this honour).

His work is represented in private collections in China, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, USA, France, Germany, Italy, Holland, Belgium, the UK and Australia. Major collections include the Murdoch family, Crown Casino, Ethel Turner’s family and the Safti Military Institute of Singapore and the Prime Minister of Singapore, Goh Chok Tong.

He now resides in Australia.
