George Largent

Born in England in 1940. George Largent migrated to Australia in 1948. He trained at the National Art School at East Sydney and was an exhibiting member of the Contemporary Art Society at 16. He worked as an advertising artist in London and New York in the 60s, and has been painting full time for almost 20 years.

He has held numerous exhibitions both one man and shared. Notably, he had a major one man show for Qantas Airways in Sydney. Major international corporations have been collectors of his work and private collectors with recognition Australia wide and internationally in USA, England, Japan and Alaska.

George is a Fellow of the Royal Art Society of NSW and with his wide knowledge of all mediums he has become a respected adjudicator, judging numerous art award exhibitions.
