John Biasetto

John Biasetto was born in Venice, Italy. His interest in art began at an early age when he studied art in Italy. In 1950, he left Italy and migrated to Australia and settled in Sydney.

John ran a number of successful shoe retailing businesses and during this time continued his passion for art. Many years of sketching and design went by before going on to study art at a local Sydney college and later studied with a variety of local artists.

Working with oils, the river, bay and landscape scenes are what John Biasetto is best known for and most recently for his colourful floral impressions.

John Biasetto's work is exhibited in many galleries throughout New South Wales and with most of his work in private collections in Australia and many other countries such as Italy, USA, Japan, Hong Kong, England and Switzerland.
