John Hingerty

Born Sydney N.S.W. 1930.

John has painted professionally since 1972 after a career in management and design in the fashion footwear industry. He has no formal training, but studied with W.Chandler Taprell and O.Kuster.

He has held ten one man exhibitions and numerous joint exhibitions in Sydney galleries. John's paintings are held in many private and corporate Collections throughout Australia and most overseas countries. Preferred subjects include landscape, marine and city scenes, floral and still life, mostly in oil, but also in watercolour, pastel and acrylic.
